I’m excited about the devotionals for the rest of the week because it’s a part of my story I haven’t share much about, but have had a significant impact in my life.
Deliverance is the part of my story that really brought to life the reality of the supernatural realm. It also brought awareness at how we allow the enemy to hold us captive voluntarily. The truth is that the prison and fetters the enemy places on us are unlocked. We can leave whenever we want, but the constant barrage of lies that darkness throws at us weakens us causing us to believe we are unable to be free or that it’s not easy to leave.
Jesus has already set us free…that’s why there are no locks on those doors.
Will you take the step to open up the prison door?
The grace of Jesus Christ has the ability to embolden and empower you to have the courage to open up those doors and experience freedom.
Those chains you feel are around your wrists or your ankles…there’s no lock. You can remove them because Jesus has already set you free.
With Jesus in you, will you remove those chains in faith?….and run. Run to the Father. Experience His freedom in your life. Experience His love.
Before I share the verses of the day (yes, there are a few today), I’d like to pray.
Will you pray with me?
In addition to this prayer, I encourage you spend a few minutes with God. I walk through a prayer in the live daily devotional (link below) that will help lead you into deliverance and freedom.
Prayer of the Day
Father, Jesus Christ brought freedom. He made me completely and wonderfully free. I may not be feeling that freedom right now, but I stand in faith knowing that it is finished and I have been set free. I want to experience the complete freedom that Jesus gave me access to.
Search my heart. Search my entire being. Fill me with your presence. Fill me with your love casting out every spirit that is contrary to yours. I am removing every chain and opening up the prison door because you have set me free. Give me the courage to open them up.
The chains are gone. The door is open. As I breathe in my freedom I breath in your Holy Spirit. May the Spirit fill me with grace as I run … into Your arms. In You is true freedom. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ.
(I’d encourage you to sit and allow the Father to minister to you.)
Verses of the Day

So if the Son sets you free from sin, then become a true son and be unquestionably free!John 8:36 (tPt)
But now, as God’s loving servants, you live in joyous freedom from the power of sin. So consider the benefits you now enjoy-you are brought deeper into the experience of true holiness that ends with eternal life!
For sin’s meager wages is death, but God’s lavish gift is life eternal, found in your union with our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.Romans 6:22-23 (tPt)
